Partial Project Gaweinstal
As part of the project Take-ÖV by the Ministry of Transpor, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT), a partial project is being undertaken together with Verkersverbund Ostregion (VOR), the Austrian Postbus AG and CoCo Software Engineering GmbH in Gaweinstal in the Weinviertel Region in Lower Austria. This project involves the Postbus connections in the villages of Gaweinstal Ort, Höbersbrunn, Atzelsdorf and Pellendorf (Kfl. 1018).

At the end of November 2003, 7 BEHA-Points have been installed
in this region.
For these stops, buses can be ordered via SMS or over the internet. Obviously, buses can be ordered directly at the bus stop as well.
The current schedule is maintained entirely. Trip times to the village
of Gaweinstal will be shortened dramatically. Early morning drives
as well as special drives for schoolchildren do not require ordering.
It is sufficient to order a few minutes in advance.
In Spring of 2005, the project entered its second phase, where
20 new BEHA Points were installed in the area of Zwettl and Wienerwald.
More information can be found at the respective description the
the projects.
